A Little Note From Me
I have always believed that the way children learn to care for animals can teach them something very special about kindness.
Animals cannot always tell us what they need with words. We learn to notice the little things — when they are frightened, lonely, hungry, happy, or simply looking for someone to stay close.
That is something I wanted to gently bring into Lucy’s story.
